Why Fundraising?

​Church fundraising is important because it allows the church to carry out its mission and fulfill its obligations to its members and the community. In the book of Proverbs 3:9-10, it states, "Honor the Lord with your wealth, with the first fruits of all your crops; then your barns will be filled to overflowing, and your vats will brim over with new wine." By giving generously and supporting the church financially, members honor God and enable the church to spread His message and provide for those in need. Fundraising also helps to maintain the physical facilities and resources needed for worship and outreach. Ultimately, church fundraising is a tangible way for members to participate in God's work and build His kingdom.

Below are some of the fundraising opportunities available for you to donate to.   When making a donation earmarked for a certain fundraiser or ministry it is important that you make a notation in the memo field of your check as to which fund it needs deposited in.  If using cash, please mark it clearly on the envelope.  Thank you for your continued support of Witcher Baptist Church and our ministries.

Women Mission's Union (WMU) - Ongoing

Through their hard work and dedication, our WMU members sponsor church community dinners and support a wide range of ministries that serve the needs of our community and beyond. They are instrumental in ensuring that our church remains a place of love, support, and service.

Help us spread hope and love throughout our community! The Witcher Baptist Church Blessing Box Ministry Fund is dedicated to purchasing supplies to fill the Blessing Box located in front of our church.

The Blessing Box is a community-based ministry project that provides non-perishable food, personal hygiene items, and other basic necessities to those in need. By donating to the Blessing Box Fund, you are directly contributing to the wellbeing of our community, and helping us to spread hope and love to those who need it most.

Your support will enable us to purchase necessary supplies, such as canned goods, pasta, toiletries, and other essentials, that are then placed in the Blessing Box for anyone who needs them.
